A festival weekend often brings together people with different arrival times, tickets and plans. A shared meal at your rental can give the group one clear meeting point without requiring everyone to follow the same itinerary all day.
The right meal depends on the festival. A music weekend may leave space for brunch before heading out. A food festival may already include substantial meals, making a quieter lunch or a dinner on another day the better choice.
Check the festival before filling the gaps
Ultra Music Festival lists March 26–28, 2027 at Bayfront Park. The South Beach Wine & Food Festival lists February 25–28, 2027. Check each organizer’s current schedule and the details of your own tickets before choosing meal times.
These are separate events with different venues, schedules and food arrangements. Do not assume a ticket includes every event or that one dining plan fits the whole weekend.
For a music weekend, consider a shared brunch
A brunch can bring everyone together before the day’s plans begin. Ask about plated, family-style or buffet brunch, depending on whether everyone will eat together or arrive within an agreed window.
Choose one realistic time when the group will be ready to sit down. Discuss the menu, allergies and desired portions directly. Drinks and tableware may be supplied by you or arranged with Collin; confirm responsibility and any cost instead of assuming they are included.
For a food festival, plan around what is already booked
Review each guest’s ticketed meals before adding another large dinner. A private meal might fit best on arrival night, on a day without a ticketed dinner or as a lunch before evening plans.
Share the style of food your group enjoys and what they would like from the private meal. Collin can discuss a menu for your gathering; there is no need to reproduce a festival dish or suggest that festival chefs are involved.
Make the accommodation ready
Confirm the host allows your gathering and outside chefs.
Check seating, kitchen equipment and refrigerator space.
Count plates, silverware, glasses and napkins for the agreed menu.
Arrange access for the chef if guests are at an event.
Identify one person to confirm headcount and communicate schedule changes.
For more detail, read how to plan a private brunch and explore private-chef meals at a vacation rental.
Keep the festival and your meal separate
Chef Collin’s service is independently arranged at your approved home or rental. It does not include festival tickets, official hospitality or access to festival grounds. Any proposal for a different venue needs its own permission and service discussion.
Bring your weekend plans into one inquiry
Send the festival, date, dining neighborhood, guest count, meal preference and budget range. Include the time guests need to leave and any uncertainties about arrivals. For a dinner, explore private dining; for a daytime gathering, ask Collin about your festival-weekend brunch.
